Veteran Detroit musician James O’Donnell is no stranger to the Dirty Dog, being the long time co-leader of the award-winning Planet D Nonet. Here he steps out as the leader of his own “Tough Talk” band, which is also the name of his critically well received new album.
A noted trumpeter and entertaining vocalist, he has performed in over a dozen states and performed all over the world. James offers a funky mix of boogaloo, bop and swing.
