He\nearned his bachelors degree in 2003 and his masters degree in 2012 with a concentration in\njazz studies from Wayne State University where he is currently adjunct faculty in the Jazz\nDepartment.\nThe Kris Kurzawa Group is an electric based group that features Dale Grisa on keys\, John\nBarron on bass\, and Rob Avsharian on drums.
