DESCRIPTION:Blou Reed (pronounced BLOO Reed) blends jazz improvisation and harmony with strong\, groove based rhythms to create a sound that bares the torch of tradition to light the way to the future of modern music. The band presents a wide ranging catalogue of original compositions and hip arrangements of well known Jazz standards. Blou Reed formed in 2022 when the members were still in their high school jazz programs and have been performing around Michigan ever since. BLOU REED Notable performances include Ypsi Jazz festival\, Blue LLama Jazz Club\, Ann Arbor Summer Streets\, and the University of Michigan Art Museum.
