His talents as a writer\, composer and producer caught the attention of Capitol Records.\n\nAt Capitol\, Dunlap recorded three solo albums: It’s Just the Way I Feel\, Party In Me and Tired of Being a Nice Guy. Which enabled him to write and produce much of his own material.\n\nAfter recording his solo projects\, Dunlap reunited with Earl Klugh and the duo began recording and touring together. DESCRIPTION:Zen Zadravec\, jazz pianist\, saxophonist\, and composer views all music as a form of creative communication. The goal is to create music based on human experience. It is also to absorb as much music as possible to develop through the lens of Humanism based on the philosophies of Nichiren Buddhism. Ultimately\, Zadravec strives to create music that inspires\, encourages\, and touches people’s hearts.   \n  \nZadravec is a musical chameleon. Whether it is jazz\, R&B\, funk\, rock\, or pop\, he plays each with freshness and confidence rarely found in someone so young.  A natural innovator and leader\, he runs two of his own bands: the Zen Zadravec Quartet and his fusion group Human Revolution. Zadravec has also performed or recorded with: Ron Carter\, Louis Hayes\, Karriem Riggins\, Ali Jackson\, Mike Pope\, Mark Whitfield Jr.\, Bijon Watson\, Mark Gross\, Derrick Gardner\, Vincent Gardner\, Todd Bashore\, Kenny Davis\, Steve Turre\, Ralph Bowen\, Sean Jones\, Conrad Herwig\, Freddie Hendrix\, Don Thompson\, Lorne Lofsky\, Charles Fambrough\, Valery Ponomarev\, Dave Watson\, Darryl Dixon\, Gloria Gaynor\, Joan Rivers\, Bob Newhart\, Sally Kellerman\, among others. \n  \nVersatile\, creative\, energetic\, and dynamic\, Zadravec is continuously experimenting and  \nrefining his sound and musical conception through concerts\, recordings\, and  \neducation. His music is always exploring beautiful melodies\, interesting  \nchord progressions\, and rhythmic diversity. \n  \nHis new work pushes all boundaries in Zadravec’s composing from the use of melody\, harmony\, rhythm\, and even employing odd time signatures and the voice as a melodic device-vocalese.

DESCRIPTION:Winner of three Detroit Music Awards\, Tumbao Bravo is an exciting Latin Jazz combo from Ann Arbor\, Mi formed in 2004\, performing the authentic rhythms of Cuba (mambo\, cha cha\, rumba\, bolero) with rich\, original jazz harmonics.  Led by saxophonist/flutist/percussionist/composer Paul Vornhagen\, their instrumentation also includes trumpet\, congas\, timbales\, keyboard and electric bass.  Expect the highest level of musicianship and professionalism on stage as these top notch players deliver fiery and tight arrangements of their own compositions.  Great for dancing with melodic songs and sizzling solos.  Their five PKO Records releases have been featured on all the top NPR latin jazz programs as well as sound tracks for feature length films.  Tumbao Bravo as performed in jazz clubs and music festivals throughout Michigan as well as Toledo\, Chicago and San Francisco.  LATIN JAZZ CORNER has this to say about the band–“Each band member brings a high level of comfort and experience with Afro-Cuban music.
