THORNETTA DAVIS

Detroit’s Queen of the Blues, multi-talented native Detroiter, Thornetta Davis is a 2023 Blues foundation, Blues Music Award winner for Best soul/blues, artist of the year, and has reigned over Michigan’s most attended events for over 30 years.  This singer-songwriter, recording artist and winner of over 30 Detroit Music Awards has electrified audiences worldwide with tours to Europe, and has performed Music festivals in Italy, Tunisia, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Canada, Norway, Australia and throughout the United States. Thornetta is backed by a great band, all hailing from Detroit, Carlton Washington Guitar, Phillip Hale on keys, Dave Marcaccio on Drums, James Anderson on percussions.   Thornetta is currently supporting her self-produced, and self-released, award-winning album “Honest Woman”. Thornetta’s show is a mixture of original music and some of your favorite covers. When she performs your spirit is lifted, and she leaves you wanting more.
